Blogging From the Hospital
Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I'm writing this post from St. Charles Hospital in Bend, Oregon, where I had surgery yesterday to repair dislocated cartilage in my jaw. The surgeon was concerned that the cartilage would be too damaged to repair -- which would mean that it would have to be replaced by artificial cartilage -- but it was still in good shape so all he needed to do was sew it back into position on the joint. The procedure took a couple hours, and it went as well as possible, and my recovery has gone very well so far. I should be released sometime this morning.
