U.S. stocks rallied Friday, with the Dow breaking above 14,000 for the first time since October 2007, as investors welcomed a batch of strong economic data. The Dow Jones industrial average jumped more than 150 points, or 1.1%, to hit 14,015.27, its highest since Oct. 15, 2007. The Dow is now less than 200 points from its all-time high of 14,198.10.Daily Kos has more on this here.
