It's good to see Obama finally talking about this. Folks in the media are always stating that the current gridlock is the fault of both parties, and that is complete bullshit. As I noted a couple months ago, prominent members of the GOP -- including Jim Fucking DeMint -- are openly bragging about their party's refusal to compromise with the Democrats. Asshole Mitch McConnell flat out stated a couple years ago that the goal of the Republican Party is to defeat Obama in 2012 (not to help the economy or get people back to work).
Christ, if one side is admitting openly that the gridlock is all their fault -- even to the point of bragging about it -- I think the time has come to start taking their word for it.
