By overwhelming margins, respondents said that members of Congress were too tied to special interests and that they did not understand the needs and problems of average Americans. Two-thirds said Congress had accomplished less than it typically does in a two-year session; most said they said they could not name a single major piece of legislation that cleared this Congress. Just 25 percent said they approved of the way Congress was doing its job.Are voters finally starting to realize that people who hate government shouldn't be in government? I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Very Bad News For The GOP
Although there is a lot of bad new for Republicans in the recent New York Times/CBS poll - i.e., 30% appoval for BushCo's handling of Iraq and an overall 37% approval rating for Bush -- the following numbers jumped out at me:
